By accessing, using, or participating in the DAO, its website(s), Discord server(s), forums, or any related platforms and tools (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our [Privacy Policy]. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.

2. Purpose of the DAO

Founders DAO is a decentralized organization dedicated to supporting startup founders and fostering a collaborative community. The DAO does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. All content, investor introductions, mentorship programs, and other benefits are offered solely for educational and informational purposes.

3. Eligibility

  1. Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to participate.

  2. Legal Capacity: You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts, and that you are not otherwise barred from using the Services under applicable laws.

  3. Compliance: You agree to comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those pertaining to securities, taxes, anti-money laundering, and digital assets.

4. No Investment, Financial, or Professional Advice

  1. No Financial Advice: Any investor connections, pitch days, or related opportunities facilitated by Founders DAO are for networking and informational purposes only. The DAO does not guarantee funding, profitability, or any particular outcome.

  2. Independent Decision-Making: All decisions to invest, pitch, or collaborate are made at your sole discretion and risk. We encourage you to seek professional advice (financial, legal, tax, or otherwise) before making significant decisions.

5. Membership & Governance

  1. DAO Governance: Founders DAO may operate through a token or membership model allowing members to propose, discuss, and vote on initiatives. Specific governance rules, including voting thresholds and quorum requirements, will be published separately in the DAO Governance Document.

  2. Obligations of Members:

Act in Good Faith: Members agree to collaborate in a manner that is constructive, honest, and respectful.

Compliance with Policies: Members must comply with any policies or codes of conduct adopted by the DAO.

Participation: The DAO encourages active participation. However, no member is obligated to provide services, resources, or funding, unless explicitly agreed upon.

  1. No Guarantee of Profits: The DAO does not guarantee any financial returns or profits from membership or governance tokens. Any tokens or membership interests are intended for governance and utility, not speculation.
